Marián Studenič pokračuje vo výborných výkonoch v AHL.

V nočnom stretnutí, v ktorom jeho Texas hostil Rockford, si pripísal ďalšie dva kanadské body. Najskôr si v 8. minúte pripísal asistenciu, keď sa strelecky presadil McKenzie, potom v 23. minúte sám skóroval. Texas však napokon prišiel proti Rockfordu o vedenie a prehral pomerom 2:3 po predĺžení.
