After seeing Nadal trash his opponents on clay, eyes are on Federer’s camp. It is well known that Federer left Miami confused after his disappointment there.

On leaving, his words were "Look, it's no secret that I've struggled in the last five matches I've played in the States…. I'm a bit confused with how I'm hitting the ball”. He made it clear that he needed practice, and so a day after his stunning defeat to Tomas Berdych, Roger Federer, the World No.1, lived up to his word by hitting the clay courts in Miami on Wednesday.

On his facebook page Federer even put a picture to prove that he is a man of his word. It is well known that Federer trained hard last year to attack at Roland Garros, he practiced intensely in torrid weather so it was no surprise when be beat Nadal in Rome and after that won at Roland Garros. We are pretty sure that he’s practising intensely once more, to play his perfect Roland Garros where he will beat Nadal in the final on the French red dirt. From next week he will be in Rome for the Masters Series 1000 tournament where we hope to see his form and if the practice has paid off.
