Preview: Champions League, FC Olympique Lyon v Bayern MĂĽnchen
Will Robben's goal of the first leg be enough to send Bayern Munich to the Madrid Final? One is for sure, today's game is going to be a much more exciting one.
The first game of Bayern- Lyon was a very conservative one. Neither of the teams wanted to put themselves out there. The second half goal by Robben (68') was enough for Bayern to get a win which is not very comfirtable, I must say.
This time, Bayern travel to Lyon but without Anatoliy Tymoshchuk who suffers from gastroenteritis. Doubtful is the participation of Demichelis, van Buyten, Contento (all injured from last Saturday's game against Mönchengladbach 1:1) and Klose (flu)! To make things worse... Franck Ribéry is suspended and so is Pranjić.
Lyon have a few unsentees themselves. François Clerc , Joan Hartock and Mathieu Bodmer are all injured and out of tonight's squad. So is Jérémy Toulalan who is suspended!
Jean II Makoun, Lisandro, Jean-Alain Boumsong have been reported to have picked minor injuries and are oubtful for tonight (they will most probably play but not the whole full 90'). Cris has also picked a knee injury (you should remember it from the Munich game) but he is fit today and will play as normal.
Lyon should be much more relaxed considering that they have not played any games since their Champions League game in Munich. Their last French Ligue 1 game was 10 days ago so they had the chance to recover injuries, take some good rest and train for tonight.
Munich have the 1:0 score in favour of them but in Lyon this could change. If the home team scores first (which is what the French want tonight) then the Germans are in trouble. I expect a fairly open game with both teams wanting to score at least one goal. The best betting suggestion is "both teams to score" and is offered at 1.80 at Bet365 which is the bookie I also suggest to try it with.
