An inspired Inter Milan host Juventus on Sunday looking to pick up where they left off in midweek, while Lazio host Brescia in Serie A.

Samuel Eto'o scored a hat-trick as the Nerazzurri tasted victory in the Champions League for the first time this season in a 4-0 demolition of Werder Bremen.

"It was the confirmation of the great play that the team has displayed earlier in the season," said Inter coach Rafael Benitez.

"Eto'o played well because the team played well.

"It was important for us to win and we did that.

"We now have to see if we can recover some injured players in view of the game against Juventus.

"I think Juve are a good side, they do not fear us and I expect a great game."

Inter are still without the injured Thiago Motta, Javier Zanetti, Marco Materazzi and Walter Samuel.

Juve returned to winning ways last weekend with a 4-2 triumph over Cagliari, courtesy of a Milos Krasic hat-trick.

If Inter fail to win, Lazio could climb to the top of the standings.

The Biancoceleste are level on 10 points with Inter after five games and they host Brescia on Sunday.

Inter were not the only Italian side to prevail this week in Europe's elite club competition.

Roma claimed a 2-1 win over CFR Cluj in midweek and they will go up against Napoli at the San Paolo.

The Romans claimed their first league success of the season in last weekend's 1-0 triumph over Inter.

AC Milan, who held Ajax to a 1-1 draw in Amsterdam, will welcome back Alexandre Pato for Sunday's trip to Parma.

The Rossoneri are fifth in the standings, two points behind Inter.

Fiorentina won for the first time this season when they beat Parma last time out. The Viola will take on Palermo on Sunday.

Genoa will be looking for their first victory at the Luigi Ferraris stadium when they host Bari this weekend. The Grifoni have taken just one point from their last two home games.

Lecce will meet Catania hoping to keep up their good form at home, having collected four of their current five points at the Via del Mare stadium.

Sampdoria have been struggling and will visit Bologna looking to claim their second win first on the road.

Chievo will be hoping to recover striker Sergio Pellissier in time for Sunday's game against Cagliari.

Pellissier has been suffering with a back injury that he picked up during last weekend's narrow defeat to Lazio.

Bottom side Udinese have yet to win a game this season and will try to stop the rot when they host newly-promoted Cesena on Sunday.

Cesena lost 4-1 in the last round to Napoli.
