Bradford boss Peter Taylor makes his first return to Wycombe on Saturday after losing his job at Adams Park just 11 games into last season.

Taylor is now starting to get the Bantams back on track after a disappointing start to the campaign and they are within striking range of a spot in the play-offs.

Four wins out of five League Two games have eased the pressure on the ex-Crystal Palace and Hull chief at Valley Parade and there are reasons for Bradford fans to be optimistic for the rest of the season.

The arrival of Lee Hendrie has provided a real boost and the former England international has hinted this week that he will turn down interest from America and extend his short-term stay at the club in January.

Goals are flowing freely with nine goals in their last three matches and Colchester boss John Ward was full of praise for the Bantams after his League One side's 4-3 FA Cup victory last weekend.

He said: "They're a team in form and they have a lot of experience and an excellent manager, with Wayne Jacobs working with them.

"It was a tough game and it was as tough a game as we've had."

Wycombe can be expected to remain in the promotion shake-up but their home form isn't much to write home about at the moment.

One draw and two defeats from the Chairboys' last three games at Adams Park is in stark contrast to their fantastic record on the road with no losses in eight league games.

Bradford won 1-0 at promotion contenders Bury in their previous League Two clash and they provide decent value at 10/3 to claim three points again this weekend.

Lincoln are still at the wrong end of table but there are green shoots of recovery under new manager Steve Tilson.

The Imps reached the second round of the FA Cup with a 1-0 victory over non-league Nuneaton last weekend and the 2-2 draw in their last away game at Wycombe was a good result.

The 2-0 defeat at home to fellow strugglers Northampton was disappointing but Tilson can be expected to get it right if he is given time.

He already has a bit of quality in his side with winger Albert Jarrett and on-loan striker Ben Hutchinson capable of causing problems for defences and they should test Morecambe on Saturday.

The Shrimps have returned to form after initially failing to shake off last season's play-off woe and the 5-0 win over Stockport at the Globe Arena has lifted spirits.

However, that was a rare home victory with only two wins from eight league games this season giving Lincoln hope of springing a surprise.

The Imps are only four points behind Morecambe in the standings and are worth backing at 3.85 to close the gap with victory on Saturday.
