With Chelsea having little to play for away to Marseille on Wednesday - the Blues have already won their group with the French side confirmed in second - our preview of the night's Champions League action focuses on Arsenal.

Having started their campaign with three straight wins, few would have imagined a few weeks ago that they would arrive on matchday six needing a win to guarantee their progress to the last 16.

But that's the scenario which faces Arsene Wenger's men as they prepare to entertain Partizan Belgrade following two away defeats on the spin.

The good news, however, is that the Serbs have endured a miserable campaign and having lost all five games so far it really should be a matter of how many for the Gunners as they seek the three points they require to see off the challenge of qualification rivals Braga.

As long as Arsenal don't get nervous and simply play as they have been doing for much of the season they should be too good for Partizan, who were beaten 3-1 in the reverse fixture.

In fact that goal is the only one Partizan have managed so far in the group and that came from the penalty spot. At the other end, 10 have been conceded.

With Arsenal having a track record of battering Europe's lesser lights on home soil, you have to fear for the visitors.

The Gunners have already crushed Shakhtar Donetsk 5-1 and Braga 6-0 at the Emirates this season, last year AZ Alkmaar went down 4-1, the season before Porto were crushed 4-0 and back in 2007/08 Slavia Prague suffered a 7-0 humiliation.

With Samir Nasri on fire right now and Marouane Chamakh also among the goals, it's not too difficult to see a similar tale unfolding in this one and so we're going for a roulette-style 'street' bet in the correct scoreline market.

Scores of 4-0, 5-0 and 6-0 are our choices at odds of 7.50, 13.50 and 30.00 respectively.

Critics will point out Arsenal have not been particularly solid at the back this term but, as already outlined, the men from Belgrade are hardly full of goals and they've yet to net on their travels.

Given we're expecting goals from the home side we've also taken a look into the anytime scorer market.

It's no great surprise to see plenty of short prices knocking around - Coral have no less than seven players quoted at evens or shorter - but one man the layers may have underestimated is Alex Song.

The midfielder has got forward regularly this season and been rewarded with four goals so far, including one here against Donetsk.

And while the bookies are running scared of form men Nasri and Chamakh - best prices of 1.95 and 1.57 respectively - Song can be backed at 4.33.

That's decent value and a price we want a slice of.
