The Carlos Tevez soap opera has taken centre stage at Manchester City but now attention turns back to the Premier League when Everton visit Eastlands on Monday night.

The Toffees have beaten City in five out of the six previous meetings between the clubs, including three wins away from home, but they are struggling this season and sit only two points above the relegation zone.

Boss David Moyes puts the failure to pick up victories down to poor finishing from his forwards.

"You need your luck sometimes but we missed quality chances to win the game and we didn't take them," he said as he reflected on the 0-0 draw at home to Wigan.

"If you don't do that you pay the consequences, lucky or not.

"Louis Saha was through against Blackpool, Becks (Jermaine Beckford) was through in one of the other games - that isn't luck, that is bad finishing.

"How do you win if you don't take your chances?"

One man who is giving Everton fans something to cheer is Tim Cahill.

The midfielder has once again found himself filling the void in attack with eight goals already to his name during the current campaign.

He also has a good record against City with two goals in his last four appearances against them and his aerial threat always provides a worry for any defence.

You can get 11.00 for the Australia international to score anytime and that is worth an interest with Everton's continuing reliance on him to find the back of the net.

The Toffees have been solid on the road with four draws in a row after the 2-0 win at Birmingham on October 2 and they won't be overawed by a trip to Eastlands after holding Tottenham and Chelsea in that run.

City haven't been rolling teams over at home with two of the last three games at Eastlands ending all-square.

They are also the joint-lowest scores at home in the Premier League, along with Birmingham and Wigan, and the continuing speculation over star man Tevez's future hasn't increased the morale at the club.

Boss Roberto Mancini will also be without Nigel de Jong though suspension for this game but the absence of the banned Mikel Arteta for Everton means both sides won't be at full strength.

City still haven't found the consistency to warrant the belief that this is the season they will win the title so the 3.60 with Bet365 and Bwin for the draw makes appeal with Everton able to match the big boys.
Verdict: Manchester City 1 Everton 1
